DesignSnipe ("DesignSnipe", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at www.designsnipe.com and the related website-builder service (the "Service"). - Generated content and designs you save inside the Service.

1.2 Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVC, or bank credentials. We receive only the limited transaction data Stripe returns to us (e.g., last four digits, brand, billing country, charge status). Your payment information is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
1.3 Information we collect automatically
- Device and connection information (IP address, browser type, operating system, screen size, language).
- Usage information (pages viewed, features used, referring URL, timestamps, error logs).
- Local storage and cookies used to preserve your in-progress designs and session state.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate the Service, including generating designs, copy, and downloadable site files.
- To process and fulfill purchases, deliver download links, and provide receipts.
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.

3. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information with vendors that process data on our behalf to deliver the Service. Each vendor is bound by its own privacy and security obligations. The following processors may receive information you submit:
- Anthropic, PBC — large-language-model APIs used to parse documents and generate website copy.
- Vercel, Inc. — hosting, deployment, AI Gateway, and observability for the Service.

- v0 (a Vercel product) — AI design and code generation infrastructure.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your business inputs or uploaded documents with advertisers or data brokers.
4. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses third-party artificial-intelligence models to generate website content from the inputs and documents you provide. AI output may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or content similar to text appearing elsewhere. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing AI-generated content before publishing or distributing it. DesignSnipe makes no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, original, non-infringing, or fit for any particular purpose.
5. Your Content and License to Us
You retain ownership of the documents, business information, logos, and other materials you submit. By submitting content to the Service, you grant DesignSnipe a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and to develop and improve the Service. You represent and warrant that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (for example, to remember your in-progress design and session). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Service may not function correctly.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Saved designs and uploaded documents are retained while your local session or account remains active and may be deleted automatically after a period of inactivity. Payment and tax records are retained for the period required by law.
8. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials you use.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand and consent to the transfer of your information to, and processing in, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT GENERATED BY IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. DESIGNSNIPE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, ORIGINAL, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR USE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DESIGNSNIPE AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

15. Business Transfers
If DesignSnipe is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and any successor entity will be bound to honor the commitments we have made in this Policy.
