There are 3,200 of you in our Discord, six thousand on Bluesky, eleven hundred on r/veilspire, and 4,800 on Steam wishlists. We answer in all of them. The studio's communication policy is the same in every channel: be a person, not a brand.
The studio's primary channel. Daily build chat, fan-art share, the closed playtest queue.
→ Join server BlueskySaoirse posts every other day. Devlog announcements + behind-the-scenes notes.
→ Follow @cinderlight RedditPlayer-run subreddit since Oct 2024. Best place for fan-theorizing and chalk-glyph cataloguing.
→ Visit subreddit YouTubeTrailer, devlog video posts, and four short Saoirse studio sessions.
→ Subscribe MastodonSame content as Bluesky, mirrored. We are present at @cinderlight@mastodon.social.
→ FollowDiscord is where we spend most of our day. Saoirse is in #devlog every morning at her café in Lisbon, Tobias is in #code-help most afternoons, and Paweł runs a Friday environment-art critique session that anyone can join. We are not a brand on a Discord; we are three people who use the Discord to talk to other people about the game.
The closed playtest queue lives here too. Sign up below or in the #playtest channel — we pull twelve testers per round.
→ Join Discord (free)Posted with permission. Tag #veilspire on Bluesky / Mastodon / Tumblr to get in the rotation. We feature six new pieces every devlog. The community has produced more art in the last four months than the studio has in eighteen.
We run closed playtests in cohorts of twelve, every six to eight weeks. The next round opens late June 2026 and will run for one weekend. Tester selection is curated — we look for variety across input devices, gaming time, and accessibility needs.
If you're selected we'll send you a Steam key with a build, a 90-minute task list, and a Discord invite to the testing channel. Testers are credited in the game's Acknowledgements at launch unless they opt out.
