A month-by-month read on every species we target out of Atlantic Beach. Built from the last decade of Tide Mark catch logs and updated each January with last year's actual data — not generic regional charts.
If you can pick your dates, these are the three windows we'd build a trip around. Booked 90+ days out — the second-tier windows fill up after.
Gulf stream eddies park 35 miles offshore and hold 30–80 lb yellowfin in numbers. Bonus blackfin and bigeye after dark. Best two months for offshore trips of the year.
The widest peak. Mahi schools push close, the white marlin run fires up in July, and sailfish stay in the spread through September. Best window for first-time offshore anglers.
Redfish schools push up the marsh on falling tides, trout bite all morning, and flounder hit before the November close. Crowd-free shoulder season inshore.
Inshore charters launch within an hour of the morning high tide whenever possible — that's when the redfish flood the marsh and the trout stack on the points. Below is the next seven days at the Atlantic Beach gauge so you can pick a date that lines up.
