three programs

Three tracks, one team.

Petra Voss leads the entire program. Imani and Saoirse cover overflow during peak booking weeks. Whatever your stage — pre-conception, mid-pregnancy, six-weeks post or six-months out — there's a track that fits and a small-group class to slot into. We move when your provider clears you and not before.

Pre-natal reformer

For pregnant clients across all three trimesters. Reformer-based with tower modifications. Class is capped at five — we want eyes on every body. Cuing emphasizes pelvic floor, breath, and the linea alba.

  • Trimester-specific programming
  • Modifications for diastasis
  • Pelvic floor cued every class
  • No supine work after week 20

Post-natal recovery

Open after the six-week postpartum check (or twelve weeks for cesarean) and provider clearance. Five clients, ninety minutes. Babies welcome to ride along — we have changing tables, a bouncer corner, and zero precious-ness.

  • Diastasis check at session one
  • Pelvic-floor reactivation series
  • Carriage work for hip stability
  • Babies welcome through 4 months

Trying-to-conceive

A small but serious part of the practice — clients in fertility care who want movement that doesn't hurt the cycle. Programmed in conversation with reproductive endocrinologists. Quiet pace, no jumping, no aggressive core work.

  • Hormone-aware programming
  • No jumpboard, no inversions
  • IUI/IVF cycle-aware modifications
  • Discreet — no announcements in class

Privates · any stage

Some clients prefer one-on-one, especially in late pregnancy or the first six weeks postpartum. Petra runs pre + post-natal privates four mornings a week. Sixty minutes; intake required at first session.

  • 1:1 reformer or tower
  • $165 / session
  • 5-pack and 10-pack available
  • Insurance superbills on request

how programming changes by week

Five stages, five programs.

A simplified map of what we change and when. Every body is different — this is a baseline, not a prescription. Petra writes a personal program in your screening intake.

i.

Trimester 1

Most clients keep their existing reformer practice with breath cuing emphasized. Hydration, food, and rest matter more than the workout this trimester.

— wks 1–13 —
ii.

Trimester 2

Move to the pre-natal small group. Drop supine work above week 20. Add side-lying. The carriage gets your full weight; we let the springs do more.

— wks 14–27 —
iii.

Trimester 3

Reformer, tower, and standing work. We coach pelvic floor for labor, train transverse abdominis, and keep you walking taller than you'd think.

— wks 28–40+ —
iv.

Early post-natal

Wait for provider clearance — six weeks vaginal, twelve weeks cesarean. Begin with breath, pelvic-floor reactivation, gentle bridging.

— wks 6–12 —
v.

Building back

Three to twelve months postpartum. Diastasis-aware progression to full strength. Most clients return to general classes around month four.

things we screen for

What we'll ask at intake.

The screening below is the baseline form Petra reviews before your first session. None of these disqualify you from the program — they shape it. We coordinate with your OB or midwife if anything in your history needs more eyes than ours.

— pre-natal —

Conditions we modify around

  • Placenta previa, marginal or complete
  • Pregnancy-induced hypertension
  • Gestational diabetes (insulin)
  • Bed-rest order from provider
  • Active preterm labor history
  • Multiples (twins, triplets) — different track
— post-natal —

What we screen for early

  • Diastasis recti (abdominal separation)
  • Pelvic-floor dysfunction or prolapse
  • C-section recovery and scar mobility
  • Pubic-symphysis pain (still healing)
  • Postpartum mood — referral if needed
  • Persistent low-back pain
— always —

Provider clearance + comms

  • OB / midwife clearance form on file
  • Pelvic-floor PT referral when relevant
  • Open line to your provider's office
  • Superbills for insurance reimbursement
  • Discretion — we never share who's pregnant
  • Petra's mobile for between-session questions

questions, kindly answered

What new families ask.

Can I bring my baby to class?

Yes — to the post-natal small group, through about four months of age. We have changing tables, a quiet bouncer corner, and a feeding chair. After four months babies usually want to crawl; we ask you to bring a sitter or move to a regular class.

Do I need a doctor's note?

For pregnant and early-post-natal clients, yes. We send a one-page clearance form to your OB or midwife after your screening intake; their signature plus a date is all we need. For TTC and clients more than twelve months postpartum, no clearance required.

I have diastasis — can I still do this?

Yes. Diastasis is one of the most common reasons clients come to us. Petra checks the gap at session one and programs accordingly. We avoid the movements that worsen it (loaded crunches, planks too early) and progress through deep transverse work.

What about miscarriage or pregnancy loss?

We are gentle. The TTC track is set up to be private — your stage is never mentioned in class. If something difficult happens, Petra will reach out personally; pause your membership at no charge for as long as you need.

Can I keep going to regular reformer classes?

In trimester one, often yes — with breath cuing emphasized. After about week 14, we move pre-natal clients into the small group. After delivery, you'll return to regular classes around three to four months postpartum, depending on your check-in with Petra.
