Dr. Devon Park, DCFounder.
Devon opened Your Business in 2017 after seven years in a busy injury-and-rehab clinic in Boston. He runs the running cohort, sees most of the triathlon and ultra-running population, and is the doctor most likely to put you on a treadmill with two cameras.
His training is heavily sports-orientated — Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician through the ACBSP, Diplomate-track in sport chiropractic, full-body Active Release certification, and an NSCA strength credential picked up to make rehab cleaner. He has been a marathoner since college and is currently chasing a sub-three.
Outside the clinic, Devon coaches a high-school cross-country team in Lake Oswego and keeps a small contract with the PSU track program for ad-hoc consults.
Dr. Marisol Reyes, DCSport + post-op.
Marisol joined in 2019 and quickly became the lead doctor for our heavier-load population — lifting athletes, soccer and basketball players, and post-surgical rehab cases coming out of the local ortho practices.
She holds the more advanced Diplomate-level sports certification (DACBSP), an NSCA-CSCS, and a functional-neurology track. She has spent significant clinical time on disc-related lumbar cases and on shoulder rehab post-surgical repair, and she will read your MRI report carefully before your second visit.
Marisol grew up playing soccer in Ciudad Juárez and still plays for a Sunday-league team in NW Portland. She sees Spanish-speaking patients in either language.
Dr. Ben Akande, DCMovement + prenatal.
Ben is our movement-systems specialist — Fellow of Applied Functional Science, SFMA Level 2, and Webster-certified for prenatal and postpartum chiropractic. He sees most of our desk-worker, parent, and post-surgical population.
His framework leans into the chain — what is the foot doing, what is the hip doing, what is the rib cage doing — and the treatment plans he writes are heavier on corrective exercise than the others. He is the doctor most likely to put you on the floor in the rehab gym for half of a follow-up.
Ben is also our pregnancy-and-postpartum-care lead. The Webster technique is gentle and well-evidenced for late-pregnancy pelvic alignment and post-birth recovery; we treat about a dozen patients a month in this window.
