The Crew

Four wranglers. One foreman. A long memory.

Every guest is paired with one wrangler their whole stay — same person at the corral in the morning and the long table at night. None of them got into this work yesterday. Combined, they've thrown saddles for a hundred and twelve years.

The Roster

Real names. Long bios.

You'll meet whichever wrangler has the closest match to your riding level. Pairings are made the morning you arrive, after your check-ride.

01
Foreman

Rev Holloway

32 years on the ranch · PRCA card holder

Started at Wagonwheel as a fifteen-year-old hayhand the summer his uncle ran the place. Took the foreman's job in 2004. Knows where every fence post leans, which calf was born early last year, and the name of every horse that ever wintered here.

"You don't teach a horse, and you don't teach a guest. You set the conditions and you watch the work happen."

02
Lead Wrangler

Cassidy Vale

19 years · NRHA reining certified

Two-time state qualifier in barrel racing. Came to Wagonwheel from a Texas dude operation looking for work that wasn't a costume. Patient with first-time riders, ruthless with bad form, and the only person on the ranch who can shoe a horse in under twenty minutes.

"Sit down, breathe out, hand low. Then we'll talk about the horse."

03
Cattle Hand

Booth Marler

27 years · head of the spring drive

Quiet by default. Knows every fence post and creek bed on the property by name. Leads the cattle drive every May and October — if you're booked on the drive, you'll be riding behind him for six days. Doesn't talk much. Says everything that matters.

"There's the trail you can see and the trail the cows know about. We mostly take the second one."

04
Wrangler

Wynn Aldridge

34 years · range cook + farrier

Range cook, farrier, fiddle player, fire-circle ringleader. Wynn ran her own packing outfit in the Bob Marshall for two decades before she landed here. Will out-eat you, out-walk you, and out-talk you, in roughly that order.

"Eat the biscuits. There's never as many as you think."
