The String

Twelve horses. Each one a name.

Every horse on this property has a story and a temperament — we don't run a herd of generic guest-horses. When you arrive, the wrangler matches you to the one whose pace, mouth, and patience fit yours. Here's the current string.

This list updates seasonally. Cinder retired in '24 — she still gets daily oats and tells the new geldings how it used to be.

Horse Care

How they live the other 51 weeks.

Our horses are not props. They're working animals on rotation, with vet care, hoof care, and rest the way a real horse needs.

Rotation

Each horse works two stays a month max. The other weeks they're on pasture.

Vet & Farrier

Six-week farrier visits, twice-yearly vet check. Teeth floated annually.

Winter

Run on 800-acre winter pasture November through March. We bring hay, they bring patience.

Retirement

Cinder, Rascal, and Old Pete live out their days here. None of our horses get sold off when they age out.

Hold a Stay

Ride one of them.

Tell us your honest level on the booking form. We'll match you to the right horse the morning you arrive.
