Tracked over five weeks in Studio A on tape, mixed in-room on the SSL, mastered for vinyl by Jonas. The kind of record where the carriage-house room ends up tracked as its own instrument — listen for the tin-tile reverb on the third track.
Margaret came in with eleven songs and a mandolin. Left with eleven songs, the mandolin, four guitars, two pianos, a U47 take of "Lowtide Hymn" we cried at, and a tape master Jonas already started cutting for vinyl.
