Three nights, six surf sessions, video coaching at lunch, and a slow Sunday dinner with the people you've spent the weekend learning beside. For adults who actually want to get better at surfing.
We've partnered with Driftwood Inn — the small ten-room hotel just off the boardwalk, two minutes' walk to the beach — for retreat lodging. It's not a budget motel, but it's also not a $700-a-night resort. It's good.
Rooms are quiet, beds are comfortable, and the open kitchen does the meals included in your retreat package.
Rafa Costa runs the retreat coaching. Every session is filmed by a coach with a long lens from the beach, then watched back together at lunch — frame-by-frame on the projector. You see what you actually did, what worked, and what to fix next session.
By Sunday afternoon you've watched four of your own sessions and you can tell, on your fifth paddle out, what your coach is going to point out before they say it.
