Salt City BBQ
Brisket sandwich, house mac, kraut slaw. Vegan option: smoked-mushroom roll.
A 36-seat taproom on the working pier, plus an 18-seat patio with heaters that hold the room into November. Food trucks every night, music three nights a week, dogs welcome on the patio, kids welcome inside until 8p.
The taproom keeps a fixed schedule, but a few notes: Tuesdays are slower and our mug club's free 20oz pour day, so it's the best time to come if you want to actually talk. Saturdays we open early at noon for the brewery tour, and the taproom keeps rolling till 10p. Sundays we close one hour early.
Every holiday closure is posted in the Tuesday newsletter — sign up below if you don't want to drive out and find a locked door.
Brisket sandwich, house mac, kraut slaw. Vegan option: smoked-mushroom roll.
Three tacos for $14, quesabirria with consommé, churros after 8.
12" pies in 90 seconds. Marg, soppressata, mushroom-leek, white anchovy.
Beer-battered cod sandwich, classic ME lobster roll, fries from house-cut Maine potato.
Single, double, the works. Hand-cut fries. Veggie patty smashed in tallow option.
Italian, capicola, eggplant parm, mortadella. Sunday brunch panini until 3p.
Every taproom has these awkward conversations at the door. Here's our policy in advance — read it once, never wonder again. We try to be reasonable; we're not always perfect.
Leashed, water bowls provided. Inside dogs only if service or therapy. Dog-treat jar at the bar — courtesy of Casco Pet Co.
Soft drinks and root beer flights for under-21s. After 8p the room is 21+. Strollers fit easier on the patio than inside.
State-issued only — no expired licenses, no photos. We'd rather card you twice than skip and lose our license.
You can absolutely bring your dinner from anywhere. Outside booze is a license violation we'd rather not have. Cake for birthdays is fine.
We hold 60% of the room for walk-ins. The rest is bookable, mostly so groups of 6+ can sit together without splitting tables. No deposit, free cancellation 2 hours out.
