The light
before the
vows.
Wedding and editorial photography on film and large format. Shot quietly. Printed thoughtfully. Forty weddings a year, never two the same.

I will not pose you. I'll watch the light, find a frame, and trust you to be wherever you need to be. The result is photographs that look like the day, not the catalog version of it.
I came to wedding photography from a decade in editorial fashion — Nylon, Vogue Korea, the slower magazines. I bring the same eye to a wedding day that I bring to an editorial shoot: composition first, light second, story always.
I shoot Hasselblad 500CM medium format and a Leica M6 for 35mm reportage. Everything goes through Richard Photo Lab in Los Angeles. The film stock matters; the way I see you matters more.

My most-booked collection. Full coverage from getting-ready through dancing. Most New York / Northeast weddings choose this one.
For multi-day weddings — welcome dinner, ceremony, brunch the next morning. Destination weddings receive a five-day window.

Send me a note with the date you're considering, where you're imagining it, and anything you'd like me to know. I'll write you back within two business days from a real email — never a CRM.
I take a maximum of forty weddings a year and I read every inquiry myself.
