Four core services and a working plant catalog. Every engagement begins with a paid two-hour site visit; the visit fee is credited back against any design we build together.
The studio's flagship: a fully drawn garden from edge to edge. Survey, soil report, sun study, hardscape and softscape master plan, planting plan, irrigation, lighting, and construction documents handed to a build team you trust.
For lots between half an acre and ten where most of the work is replacing turf and invasives with a sustainable, deep-rooted meadow. Slower to mature than a planting bed but lower in long-term water and maintenance — and a meadow is where most of the wildlife on a property lives.
City lots, narrow side yards, courtyards and roof gardens. The architectural problem is denser and the privacy planning matters more, but the design language doesn't change — native-first, year-round structure, salvaged stone where we can find it.
For clients whose gardens we built and who want us to keep stewarding the place. Quarterly site walks, seasonal planting refreshes, pruning, soil and mulch program, and vendor management. We don't do weekly maintenance, but we direct the team that does.
Two hours on the property. We walk every edge, sample the soil, photograph what stays. You get a one-page handwritten brief within a week.
Surveyor and arborist on site. We draft three schemes against the brief. You pick one or borrow from each — we'll merge.
Hardscape and softscape resolved to scale. Detail drawings on every transition. Specs out to bid for the build team.
We coordinate the build team. We come back at month 3, 6, and 12 to mark anything that needs adjustment. Year one is included.
