Visit rates posted publicly. Sliding scale for patients without coverage. Super-bills available for out-of-network reimbursement. We never surprise-bill, never up-charge, and never charge for follow-up emails or quick prescription refills between visits.
The thorough first visit. Full intake, focused exam, lab orders if needed, and a written treatment plan you take home that day.
The visit pattern most patients settle into. Reviews progress, adjusts protocols, addresses new concerns, plans next steps.
A focused, single-question visit. Most often used for results review, quick re-check on a protocol, or a brief consult.
Most cases respond best with a structured course of visits over 3–6 months. We offer two packages that pre-book and discount the typical pattern. Cancel any unused visit at any time for a prorated refund.
The pattern most patients run for the first quarter of care. Includes the new-patient visit and three 60-min follow-ups, typically scheduled at weeks 4, 8, and 12.
For complex cases — gut, autoimmune, hormonal, fatigue — that we know upfront will take longer. Includes the new-patient visit, five 60-min follow-ups, and two 30-min check-ins.
Naturopathic care is covered by some plans in Oregon and not by others. We're in-network with the plans where we believed the rates honored the work. For everyone else, we provide a super-bill at every visit so you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement, which most PPOs cover at 50–80% after deductible.
We submit claims directly to these plans on your behalf. You pay only your copay or coinsurance at check-out. ND visits are typically reimbursed at the same rate as primary care.
We provide a CPT-coded super-bill at every visit. You submit it to your plan for reimbursement. PPO plans typically reimburse 50–80% of our rate after your out-of-network deductible is met.
The new-patient visit is $395. If you have one of our in-network plans, you pay only your copay (typically $30–60) at check-out. If you're out of network, you pay the full $395 and we provide a super-bill the same day for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
A super-bill is a one-page receipt with the diagnostic codes (ICD-10) and procedure codes (CPT) we billed for. You upload it to your plan's reimbursement portal — most are now mobile and take five minutes. PPO plans typically reimburse 50–80% of our rate after you've hit your out-of-network deductible. HMOs generally don't reimburse out-of-network at all. We'll help you understand what your plan does before you commit to care.
No — those are separate. Labs we order through Quest or LabCorp are billed by them directly to your insurance (or to you at their cash rates). Specialty tests like DUTCH or GI Map are paid out-of-pocket, typically $200–400 each. Supplements and tinctures from our dispensary are sold at our cost plus 25% — we make almost no margin on them, and we'll always recommend the cheapest version of what works.
Yes — every visit, every supplement, every herb tincture is HSA/FSA/HRA-eligible. Most cards charge directly at check-out.
We work with three local nonprofit partners who fund care for patients in active financial hardship. If our sliding-scale rates are still out of reach, ask at intake — there may be a covered slot available.
No. As long as the question takes under about 10 minutes to answer, it's free. Anything beyond that we'll suggest a 30-minute check-in visit. We'd rather make care responsive than nickel-and-dime, and our practice model supports it.
Naturopathic doctors aren't Medicare-eligible providers in Oregon (federal law). We can't bill Medicare and patients on Medicare can't submit our super-bills for reimbursement. Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) doesn't cover ND visits in Oregon either. Washington Apple Health (WA Medicaid) does cover NDs, and we're in-process for that paneling. Sliding scale is the path for our Medicare/OHP patients.
