Small groups, structured curriculum, individual follow-ups, herbal protocols included. Better outcomes — and lower cost — than 1:1 alone for the conditions they're designed around.
Three reasons. First, cohort programs are how the patients we work with stay accountable to the lifestyle and protocol changes that drive the outcomes. Second, going through gut-reset or perimenopause work next to twelve other people who are also doing it tends to surface useful questions that solo work doesn't. Third — frankly — they let us deliver excellent care at a fraction of the per-hour 1:1 cost.
Each cohort is capped at 14 people. Each program includes 1 individual intake (60 min), 1 individual mid-program visit (45 min), weekly group sessions led by a Your Business ND, a private patient-portal forum, and the herbal/supplement starter kit. Programs run on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening cohort at the Northeast Portland clinic, or in a Saturday-morning cohort virtually.
For patients with SIBO, IBS, food sensitivities, reflux, or chronic bloat. Twelve weeks, four phases — remove, kill, repopulate, reintroduce.
The first cohort week is a comprehensive intake — including a GI Map stool test that we order as part of the program. Weeks 2–4 focus on dietary removal of triggers and inflammatory foods. Weeks 5–7 layer in herbal antimicrobials calibrated to what showed up on your test results. Weeks 8–10 repopulate with strain-specific probiotics and prebiotics. Weeks 11–12 walk through a careful reintroduction with structured re-challenges.
Led by Dr. Theo Park. Cohort size capped at 14.
For perimenopausal women navigating cycle changes, sleep disruption, mood shifts, hot flashes, and the cluster of metabolic and adrenal patterns that often arrive together.
Includes DUTCH-method hormone testing (a $379 add-on free with the program) ordered in week 1. The first cohort sessions focus on hormone literacy — what your test results actually mean, what's normal for this transition, and what isn't. Weeks 4–8 layer in adaptogenic protocols, food and movement guidance, and a 1:1 conversation about whether bio-identical HRT is right for you and your risk profile.
Led by Dr. Maren Lin. Cohort size capped at 14.
For people who don't want SSRIs as their first option, who want to support tapering off them, or who are already in talk therapy and want a complementary body-based approach.
Built on three layers — nervous-system regulation, amino-acid & micronutrient therapy, and adaptogenic herbs. Each weekly session combines lecture (45 min) with a guided practice (15 min) — breathwork, vagal tone exercises, body scans, brief somatic movement. Patients leave each session with one small daily practice for the week.
Led by Dr. Aiyana Reyes. Cohort size capped at 14. Note: this is not a replacement for psychiatric care; we work in coordination with your therapist or psychiatrist if you have one.
