Common questions.

What if the recipient picks a different region than the one I chose?

That's fine. The dollar amount on the gift travels — they can apply it to any region, any departure date, within the booking window. If their pick costs more, they pay the difference.

What if they don't book within the window?

One-year and two-year windows are firm, but extensions are granted for medical or family reasons on a case-by-case basis. After expiration, the gift converts to in-house credit usable for private rentals.

Can I gift for a specific departure?

Yes. We hold a specific departure date for $250 above the base gift price. The seat stays held for 60 days while the recipient confirms.

What's in the printed booklet?

A 24-page hand-bound itinerary specific to the chosen region — daily schedule, recipe list, packing notes, host bio, and a QR code that plays the host's voice memo. Recipients keep these even after the trip.

Refunds?

Full refund within 14 days of purchase if the booklet hasn't been mailed. After mailing, gift is non-refundable but transferable once before booking.
