Two studios available for choreographers, rehearsal directors, and independent artists. We hold daytime weekday slots open year-round at choreographer rates. Sprung Marley floors, mirrors that can be covered, a piano on request, and a building you can leave your bag in.
Both studios were built in 2014 with a sprung subfloor and Marley top, replaced every four years. Sound systems are aux-input. Mirrors have full-length curtain coverage that can be drawn closed. The building is on the L train at Bedford and there is a freight elevator for set pieces.

QSC speakers in both studios. Wired and wireless mic on request.Our larger studio. Forty by thirty-five feet, north light, eleven-foot ceilings, sprung Marley. Used for the youth pre-pro program and Naia's Level III classes during evenings; available daytimes Monday through Friday from 9 am – 5 pm.
Smaller, intimate space at thirty by thirty. South-facing windows. Upright Yamaha piano available on request. Used for improvisation classes evenings; available daytime weekdays and Sundays before 1 pm. Choreographers love this room for early-stage solo work.
Our rental is built for working artists, not for parties. We hold rates low for individual choreographers and process bookings the same day they come in. Below: the basic rules of the room.
Same-day bookings if a slot is open. We confirm by email within four business hours during studio hours. No deposit for under three hours; 25% deposit for half- and full-day bookings.
Two-hour minimum on weekdays, three-hour minimum on weekends. Half-day (4 hr) and full-day (8 hr) rates available at a 12% discount.
Marley floor, sound system, mirrors, climate control, and front-desk support during studio hours. Bring your own laptop / phone for music. Water and a kettle in the lobby.
No food in the studio. No street shoes on Marley. No tape or marks on the floor — chalk for spike marks only. We charge to replace damaged floor.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the slot. Inside 24 hours, we charge 50%. We are flexible if a tech week or sickness comes up — write to us.
If you are an independent choreographer working without institutional support, write us. We hold a few subsidized weekly slots at $20/hr by application — funded by membership dues.
Send a short note with the room, dates, and hours you need. We hold a slot tentatively for 48 hours while we confirm. For ongoing weekly bookings, write a sentence about your project.
