Dr. Mira Kessler OD
Mira opened Your Business in 2012 from her dining room (the lease came later). She handles primary eye care, kids' exams, and most contact-lens fittings. If you've been here before, there's a 70% chance she examined you.
Your Business is small on purpose. Five clinicians, one schedule. You'll see the same eye doctor each year and the same optician for fittings — that's the whole pitch.

Wei runs the specialty contact lens program · scleral, RGP, post-LASIK, and keratoconus fits. She's a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (the cornea section). Her caseload includes most of north Brooklyn's keratoconus patients.
Aisha leads the dry eye clinic. Her 90-day protocol combines IPL, LipiFlow, and an at-home routine that's built to fit into a real workday. Her patients are mostly screen-heavy professionals · she's "treated more web designers than ophthalmologists in the city," she says.
Our opticians don't work on commission. They're paid hourly · their job is fit, not flip. We've heard them turn down a $700 frame in favor of a $295 one because the pupillary distance was off. That's the standard.
Daniel runs the frame floor. He's been fitting glasses since high school and has the spreadsheet of hinge types to prove it. Specializes in tricky bridge fits and progressive lens calibration.
Joelle joined in 2021 from a frame boutique in Soho. Has a sharp eye for face-shape pairing · ask her if you can't decide between two frames, she'll tell you exactly which.
Pick a clinician, or let us match you. Either way, you'll see the same person at your next visit.
