Hosts, members, partners

The people behind the quiet doors.

Your Business is more than a directory. It's a small co-op of cabin owners, frequent stayers, and local makers who keep these places running.

Host of the month · April

Marisol & Eli Rendon

Marisol runs a ceramics studio in Bellingham. Eli teaches woodworking at the high school. Two years ago they bought a 1972 A-frame on Mt. Baker for $84,000 and have been quietly bringing it back. Their listing — Westridge A-Frame — has a 4.96 rating across 142 stays.

"We don't think of it as a business. We think of it as a cabin we love that other people get to use. The platform handles the part of that we hate."

How we govern

A small co-op, on purpose.

Your Business is a member-owned LLC with a 7-person board: 4 hosts, 2 frequent guests, 1 founding editor. We share the books quarterly with members.

01

One vote per member

Hosts of 12+ months and members of 24+ stays each get a vote on annual policy.

02

Open quarterly books

Revenue, payouts, fees, and reinvestment are mailed to members each quarter.

03

No outside investors

We've turned down four. We won't take money that pressures us to scale supply.

04

Profit recycling

50% of profit goes back into regional scouting, host photography, and community grants.
