Therapy that meets you where
you are.

Your Business is a group practice of eight licensed clinicians in Chicago. We work with anxiety, trauma, couples, and grief — at our own pace, with sliding-scale and most insurances accepted.

What we work with

Four areas of focused care.

Most of our clinicians have a primary specialty plus one or two adjacent areas. We'll match you to a clinician whose training fits what brought you here.

Anxiety

Generalized worry, panic, social anxiety, perfectionism, and the high-functioning kind that hides until it doesn't. Approaches include CBT, ACT, and IFS.

Trauma

Childhood trauma, complex PTSD, single-incident trauma, and grief intertwined with trauma. Trained in EMDR, IFS, and somatic approaches.

Couples

Communication, repair after rupture, parenting transitions, sex & intimacy, and discernment work. Two clinicians are Gottman-trained.

Grief

Loss of a partner, parent, child, pet, identity, or future you'd planned. Anticipatory grief, complicated grief, and grief in couples.

Cost shouldn't be the reason you don't start.

Every clinician at Your Business holds sliding-scale spots — limited, but real. Out-of-pocket sessions begin at $90. We're in-network with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United, and Blue Choice, and we'll provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.

Our team

Eight clinicians. Different paths, shared values.

A mix of LCSWs, LMFTs, and a PsyD. Trained at Northwestern, Loyola, Adler, and the Family Institute — and shaped by what we've seen in this city.

Your first session

What to expect, step by step.

The first session is a 60-minute conversation, not an interrogation. Here's how we walk through it together.

i.

You arrive

In-person at our Bucktown office or by secure video. We'll have water, tea, and tissues.

ii.

We listen

The first 20 minutes are yours. What brought you in, what you've already tried, what's working.

iii.

We orient

A short conversation about how we work, what therapy looks like with this clinician, and what you're hoping for.

iv.

We plan

Cadence, fit, and a small homework piece if it feels right. We'll never assign worksheets your first week.

v.

You decide

If we're not the right fit, we'll help you find someone who is. No pressure, no contract beyond the next session.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I know which therapist is right for me?

Tell us a little about what brought you here on the intake form, and our intake coordinator will suggest two clinicians whose training and current openings match. You can switch at any time, no awkwardness.

Do you offer in-person and telehealth?

Both. Our Bucktown office holds five rooms. Telehealth is available throughout Illinois on a HIPAA-compliant platform.

How often will I see my therapist?

Most clients start weekly for the first 6–10 sessions, then move to every other week as it makes sense. Couples often start every other week.

Will my insurance actually cover this?

If we're in-network with your plan, most clients pay only their copay. We verify your benefits before your first session so there are no surprises.

Can I see a Spanish-speaking therapist?

Yes. Elena and Ravi both offer sessions in Spanish. Filter the directory by Spanish-speaking on the therapists page.
