We're on the East Side, between Ives and Brook. Five minutes from RISD, ten from Brown, twelve from the Amtrak station. Park on the street, take the trolley, walk down from Wickenden — there's no wrong way to arrive.

We share a block with a record shop, a bakery, and the kindest barber on the East Side. Look for the marbled-ink sign on the navy facade — black awning, brass numbers.
Metered parking on Wickenden, free on Ives after 6pm. The lot at Wickenden & Brook is open evenings — owner is a friend, mention us.
The 92 stops one block north at Brook & Wickenden. From the train station, it's a 25-minute walk or a $9 cab ride. RIPTA passes accepted in shop for a 5% discount on books.
Leashed dogs are welcome anywhere in the shop except inside the café cabinets. We keep water bowls by the door and biscuits behind the counter — just ask.
Step-free entrance from Wickenden, accessible restroom, low shelves available throughout. Service animals welcome. Quieter hours 10am-12pm Mon-Wed if you need them.
We host private launches, book clubs, group visits, and the occasional birthday-with-a-bookshelf-photo. Reach out below — we'll write back within two business days with a quote and a hold-the-date.
