A small Charleston studio planning fourteen considered weddings each year. Full-service, day-of, or a single afternoon of counsel. Nothing more, nothing less.
"A wedding is a single, well-built afternoon — not a brand campaign. We plan it that way, and then we get out of the frame."— Your Business, founder
We take fourteen weddings a year. We choose the work carefully so the work, in turn, can be careful.
Start to finish, with us beside you. Design, vendor curation, contracts, logistics, the rehearsal, and the day itself — held quietly so you don't have to.
For couples who have built it themselves and want it landed cleanly. We arrive six weeks out, take the binder, and run the day so the people in it are free to be in it.
A two-hour working session. Bring the spreadsheet, the venue contract, the guest count, the question keeping you up. We sort it on the spot. No hand-off, no upsell.
I have been planning weddings in Charleston for nine years, after a former life as a hotel events director and, briefly, as someone who was very good at returning emails. Your Business is a three-person studio. We take fourteen weddings a year. We say no to far more than that.
We don't do destination weddings unless they make sense for you. We don't take sixty weddings a year. We don't spend the morning of your wedding posting reels. We arrive early, we hand off cleanly, and we keep the day yours — not ours.
The work is quiet on purpose. The hope is that, at the end of it, you remember the people in the room, the food, the light, the toasts you couldn't have predicted — and almost nothing about the planner.
Of fourteen 2026 dates, eleven are reserved. The 2027 calendar opens in May. Inquiries are answered by Mara, by hand, within forty-eight hours.
