Call us first
Don't call the carrier yourself. We'll log the FNOL, request a claim number, and assign an internal advocate.
Day 0 · 8 minutesDon't call the carrier first. Call us. We have direct desk lines into all 22 partner adjusters and will run interference on your behalf — that's the entire point of having an independent broker.
Most clients are out of pocket for under 30 days. The big variable is the carrier's adjuster queue, which we monitor weekly.
Don't call the carrier yourself. We'll log the FNOL, request a claim number, and assign an internal advocate.
Day 0 · 8 minutesWe send you a checklist (photos, police report, repair estimate). Most can be submitted from your phone.
Day 1 · 30 minutesThe carrier dispatches an adjuster within 48 hours. We coordinate the visit and attend if needed.
Day 2–4We review the offer line by line. If it's low, we re-open with comparable repair quotes and challenge the calc.
Day 7–14Check issued or repair shop paid directly. We follow up at 30, 60, and 90 days to make sure nothing is left open.
Day 14–28Pick the closest match — we'll route you to the right desk and provide the documentation checklist for that loss type.
Your car or someone else's was damaged. Photos, police report (if filed), and the other driver's insurance info help us move fast.
File auto claim →Wind, hail, water, fire, or theft. Take photos before any clean-up; carriers want to see the original scene.
File home claim →Tree fall, basement flooding, roof damage. Wind and hail trigger different deductibles — we'll explain which.
File storm claim →Someone was injured at your home or business, or a pet bit someone. Don't admit fault — call us first.
File liability claim →Business interruption, theft, employee injury, equipment failure. Routed to our commercial desk for specialty handling.
File commercial claim →Beneficiary claim filing. We walk surviving family through paperwork and chase the carrier — typically 30-day turnaround.
File life claim →Have ready: police report number, photos of damage, the other driver's insurance card, and your VIN.
Photos before clean-up, dated. Mitigate further damage (tarp the roof, shut water main) — keep receipts.
Don't admit fault to the injured party. Don't sign anything from their attorney without calling us.
Note the time of loss precisely (business-interruption clocks start there). Photograph all stock and equipment.
