Lin and Marcus were running a small ceramics studio in Memphis when they realized the hardest part of their business wasn't making the carafe — it was getting it photographed, listed, and shipped. So they built a tiny store to sell only their own pieces.
Customers kept asking what else they recommended. Five years later, our buying team — six full-time staff plus a freelance scout in Lisbon — vets every SKU before it joins the shop. Half come from independent makers; the rest are well-priced everyday goods we stock-test in our own homes for two weeks before listing.
We don't sell anything we wouldn't keep. That's the only rule.

Half our catalog comes from makers under 50 employees. We pay net-30 instead of the standard net-90.
