"Saint of the Long Wait" gathers a body of work made over thirty months — paintings of figures inhabiting empty space and bronzes of objects suspended in stillness. The exhibition takes its title from a phrase Vázquez Lim's grandmother used for the patron of those whose patience has gone out of fashion. The works are devotional, but to what is left unspecified.
