Birch · leather · smoked oak — the candle people light when they want to feel like they're somewhere else.
Notes of charred birch, hand-rubbed leather, and smoked oak — settled by a soft amber base. The scent of an empty cabin in late November, after the fire has been going for a few hours and the snow has just started.
Burn time: 60 hours. Hand-poured 100% soy with a cotton wick. Trim the wick to ¼" before each burn. Cure for 36 hours after pouring.
The first 20 minutes — sharp, smoky, opens the room. Like the fire just caught.
Hours 1–4 — warm and grounded. The body of the scent settles. Where most people fall in love.
Hours 4+ — soft, sweet, lingering. What's still in the room the next morning.
I bought this on a whim after a friend's house in October and I have repurchased four times since. It does not smell like a chemical "wood" scent — it smells like a real fire was going.
