"The job isn't to capture the day. The job is to preserve what it felt like."— Your Business
I have been making pictures of weddings — and the rare portrait — for eleven years, after a former life as a magazine photo editor. I shoot 18 weddings a year. Most of them are smaller than 80 guests. Most of them are in places I have never been before.
What I care about isn't the perfect frame. It's the moment forty seconds before the perfect frame, when nobody is performing yet. That's where the real picture lives, and that is what I am trying to bring home.
I am represented by Vogue, Brides, and the New York Times Weddings section. Couples find me by word of mouth and through this site, in roughly equal proportion.
I shoot 18 weddings a year. The 2026 season is 40% reserved as of this morning. The 2027 season is open.
